Emily & Chris’ Trinity tree Farm Summer Wedding

classically cool

Emily and Chris’s intimate October wedding at Trinity Tree Farm was one for the books! With a relaxed atmosphere, sophisticated décor, and punk-inspired details, Emily and Chris tied the knot last October in front of their closest friends and family.

Check out all the highlights from their beautiful intimate wedding day from getting ready to their final send-off!

Emily and Chris love punk rock and they incorporated it into every part of their wardrobe for their wedding day. The entire wedding party wore Vans and Emily and Chris both had theirs custom embroidered. Chris wore a skull and cross bones tie and Emily wore a leather jacket over her wedding dress in the evening. The entire wedding party was so effortlessly cool.

The Lodge at Trinity Tree Farm is a stunning all-white venue. The vaulted ceiling makes the space feel expansive and the wood look flooring accents the neutral palette perfectly. The ceiling is strung with string lights that are used in the evening and the skylights provide ample sunlight during the day. This venue’s design allows for the space to feel light and airy even on the most grey of Seattle days. Emily and Chris embraced the all-white interior with their florals and décor that keep a simple classic feel throughout the space. It was so simple, sophisticated and a perfect example of less is more.

During their first look, Emily and Chris shared some personal notes with each other. They were both silent as they read through their notes and when the time came they got to turn around and finally see each other for the first time. I highly recommend all my couples do a first look and have something to share with each other like a personal note. It’s such a great way to tell your partner how much you love them because sometimes saying it just isn’t enough.

Buddy is a big part of Emily and Chris’s family so it would be impossible to imagine their wedding day without him there. Luckily Trinity Tree Farm was super accommodating and Buddy was able to spend the entire day with us. Having your dog be a part of your wedding day is so much more than a trend. It’s the perfect way to make sure all of your family is together celebrating.

The ceremony was warm and bathed in beautiful sunlight as Emily and Chis tearfully exchanged their vows. It was such a sweet and personal ceremony as they shared how much they loved each other with everyone and reflected on the journey that got them to this point.

After their ceremony, Emily and Chris signed their papers and shared some beers to celebrate with just the two of them! They had brisket sliders with shots of tomato soup which tasted so delicious. I love when venues set aside time for the bride and groom to privately grab a bite to eat. It is such a great way for the couple to decompress after their ceremony, take a breath and get a bite to eat before continuing with the party the rest of the evening.

Once Emily and Chris got some time to eat we snuck away for some sunset photos on the tree farm. It was the perfect quiet moment for them to just celebrate together and really let that newly married feeling soak in. The light was getting low and the evergreen trees had such a dramatic color against their outfits. These are some of my favorite shots from their wedding!
